The restaurant in Das Schloss an der Eisenstrasse awaits you with stylish ambience and special pleasures. Enjoy the heavenly view of the town above the roofs of Waidhofen.
We serve the finest dishes from the regional and international cuisine à la carte and delicacies such as freshly prepared trout from the crystal clear water of the Ybbs. The delicate Mostschaum soup with the best ingredients from the Mostviertel. And classics like a tender, crisply fried wiener schnitzel.
Our meals and candle-light dinners will enchant you with multiple courses.
Flair in the castle: Terrace, salon & parlor
The panorama windows of the Schlossrestaurants high above the banks of the Ybbs provide you with idyllic impressions. The castle terrace allows you the opportunity to enjoy the sun outside and to capture the atmospheric feeling of the romantically lighted castle Rothschild in the evenings.
The restaurant has two separate rooms – the Rote Salon, or red salon, and Beck's Jägerstube. The Rote Salon takes on a special, stylish character with its red interior. And Beck's Jägerstube, with a dark wood interior, shows a further facet of our restaurant in the Schloss an der Eisenstrasse.

Sundowner Bar
Mauritius has it, Greece has it, New York has it, California has it and Waidhofen has it too - the Sundowner Bar! Only with one small but subtle difference: there are only regional cocktails from the sun-drenched Mostviertel region. Refreshing cocktails, delicious Schwarzlmüller ice cream and tasty snacks... Enjoy the new Sundowner Bar in the foyer and on the terrace in the castle on the Eisenstrasse.

In our wine cellar in the vaulted basement we stock choice wines which we are happy to recommend as an accompaniment to your meal – for example our gold-award-winning house wine, Intimus. As an alternative to the excellent wines, we serve fine perry from the region to complement the exclusive cuisine.
The regional, innovative spirit and the quality consciousness of the perry barons have yielded many award-winning fine perry wines and a number of excellent specialties.
