Forging in Ybbsitz
The so-called "Black Guild", that of the blacksmiths, has characterized the history of the central European Iron Trail and especially the history in Ybbsitz.Metal forging technology influences the innovations in many regional companies to this day. Fahrngruber hammers as well as Eyblhammer hoes, axes und hatchets were produced here from the 16th century until the 1980s.
